Re: can't search settings on note 5 It was easy mode. Guess that is on by default. I turned that off and everything looks more familiar. I can now add widgets to the home screen and what not. And yes, easy mode does change the layout of the settings menu. Thank you for your help.

can't search settings on note 5 I just switched from a windows phone running windows 10 to Android Galaxy Note 5, just until a surface phone comes out. Anyway, I'm having a heck of a time getting around this thing. I thought I saw a way to search settings, but now that option is no longer...
