    I ended up using a Belkin bluetooth button to solve this problem.

    Is there a way to connect the MHL output of the phone to audio out using RCA-type (red/white) or 3.5mm jack? Apple offers this type of cable but I can't find one for Samsung Galaxy S5. Thanks, Tony
