My battery life has become equally abysmal. I leave it plugged in now whenever I have access to a charger, regardless of whether it needs a charge.

He has amazing battery "life" because he's not using the phone. When "standby" is your biggest drain, it means you're not using the phone. Standby is always the #1 battery suck on my phone when I leave it on the nightstand unplugged at night.

I've had mine for six months and it's still surprisingly fast. The battery life has been okay - not great - but that's my only real complaint. If I had to buy a new phone today and the XPE was on sale for $299, I would not hesitate to buy one. Otherwise, I'd probably get a Moto G and wait for...

I used to get a day and a half, but not anymore. Mine's been plagued by the dreaded Google Services battery drain. Now I get half a day if I'm lucky.

Re: Why is my phone crackling when I'm talking on it? HELP I have this same problem, which only cropped up when I received the Marshmallow update. About 1/3 of calls are garbled, popping garbage. I'll try disabling VoLTE and see if that works.

I'm on T-Mobile post-paid. Very quick speeds, and since MXPE got Band 12 access with Marshmallow, I've noticed much better LTE reception.

T-Mobile here. HD Voice sounds amazing. But every once in a while, regular calls have a very annoying popping sound that didn't exist before 6.0 update.

I personally chose the Moto X PE for stock Android. I've used an LG phone before and despised its skin.
