Why did you pick the D2 over the Incredible?

Incredible sold out My situation exactly. Went into the Verizon store with full intention to leave with the Incredible. Turned out they had no more in stock. So I said I'll take the Droid X. Same story. All sold out. That's how I ended up with a Droid 2. Not a real problem, though. I'm...

    tehtering for free????

Unfortunate? "Unfortunately?" Rooting my Droid2 was the coolest thing I've done so far! Granted, it took three or four tries, but once I finally got the DoRoot 1-click root method to work, I've been a happy user, though I don't use Barnacle to tether.:D

    How to Delete Apps?

Isn't that why it's called "bloatware"? Why in the world would I ever want to restore the Blockbuster app on my Droid? I don't have a Blockbuster account (and thanks to Neflix, I don't need one), and I never intend to use it. And if current trends continue, Blockbuster won't be around much...

Droid X...rooted...now what? anyone? what's so special?

After three failed attempts, I was finally able to root my Droid 2 this afternoon. Now I can install apps that require root (e.g., Tether) and I am prompted to allow root access when I run them. But when I go into Settings-->Applications-->Manage Applications to try to delete the apps I don't...
