Different user with USCC GS8+. Yes, I did all that and verified that Gmail/Samsung contact as well. I can delete/add, turn on edge/turn off, but it still gives same message and will not add ten contacts, but stops at 6.

I have a US Cellular GS8+ that gives me the same error as you "cannot add more than ten", but I only have six in use. Any resolve?

On my version of S3, I have to open messaging, then use the menu button on bottom left to get to that location. However, thank you! I didn't realize I had to change it in two locations.

I'm new at this and this may not be what you are after, but *#22745927 on dialer unlocks the hidden menus. then **87284 unlocks the CDMA modem or pda option. I don't even know what it means. :) hope this helps.
