Thanks so much for your answer Zs2art! This solved my problem for my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone. I thought something major was wrong with my phone, and that I needed to reset the phone to factory settings and reinstall all of my apps. Or, even worse, that I needed a new phone!

Never mind, I found out the answer to my problem.
