I'd had the edge for about a week, with an Obliq. Dropped from about 4 feet and it cracked in the bottom right corner. Granted, this was onto a concrete floor but with the case and the low drop height I was somewhat surprised. Replaced it, and still LOVE the edge but I now now your same fear...
