I have a samsung galaxy note 5. Device manager will not find my phone from my laptop. What is weird when i go to locate, on my phone it says device manager has located my phone but on the laptop it says it can not find it. Also when i try to ring the phone , the phone will make a little tick...

I went into S voice and under settings you have to check the box saying open via home key. Works great:)
