    My samsung Note 7 has frozen with the starting screen after few hours of use.

    You don't need to wait. Just hold the power and volume down button at the same time for about 7-10 seconds and it will reboot the phone for you. You need to wait until it reboots. I had to do this a few times today bit it's all ok now.
