I downloaded and installed the latest Verizon update last night and have not had any issues since. WiFi and Bluetooth on and DD app running. Seems to have fixed this problem.

I have been following this thread ever since encountering the WiFi problem. Like others I found turning off the bluetooth fixed it. I also fall into the category of those with the DD app. With bluetooth off I was getting good results with speedtest. Turned bluetooth on and WiFi crapped out...
