Mine was draining very fast after the KitKat update until I cleared the system cache. Now, it has been unplugged for 13 h 44m and has only used 49%. I found the instructions on here to boot into recovery and clear the cache. I hope this helps you.

Re: s4 battery With normal usage, I get 10-12 hours on most days. That includes some light web surfing and 5 hours of Pandora. On the weekends, when I'm home and not using my phone, it's usually 18-20 hours or more.

I shouldn't have opened this thread. Now, all I can think about is someone asking "If I dropped my kid, would that make him slower?" Sometimes, the way my mind works is just wrong.

The Commuter is also a nice case. My wife loves hers because it's not as bulky as the Defender. I guess it all depends on how and where you use your phone. Since I work outdoors and am constantly climbing and crawling, the Defender is what works best for me.
