    Bye Bye M9

Went into the local AT&T store to get my hands on the M9 before my contract expires. Played around with it for about 10 minutes. The upside was that the phone was very snappy and responded well. Wasn't so impressed by the dual color exterior. Tried to take some simple pictures inside. Was...

Brand new phone, fast battery drain for no reason (screen?), please help

I own a Samsung Note 8.0 and your problem sounds familiar. I have to keep mine charging most of the time just to get a little bit of use out of it. Battery saver apps tell me the battery is fine. My statistics look a lot like yours in terms of battery utilization. No amount of manipulation...

Why is the HTC Sync Manager duplicates photos from HTC One in iPhoto when Syncing?

Re: HTC Sync Manager duplicates photos from HTC One in iPhoto when Syncing. No solution. I can just tell you that when I used to use HTC Sync Manager for my music, it would endlessly recreate playlists (adding 1 2 3 extensions) whenever I tried to sync with ITunes. I gave up and went to a...

The update to Sense 6.0 and other changes imminent

Update live in Houston this evening. Installed without apparent problems. Interesting new look for Blinkfeed and camera. Still exploring.

    AT&T reps liars?

Every one of these companies has some form of program (known as Loyalty or something like that) or otherwise allows the staff to do more for you once they think you're really serious about leaving. Imagine that's even more so when T Mobile is involved. The sales staff at the store may not have...

HTC One: Severely upset over 4.4.2 update

Re: Severely pissed off over 4.4.2 update I also use GMail Contacts for my primary contact database. On the HTC One, access the Phonebook either through the Dialer or the Contacts app. There is a pull down menu on the upper left (Phonebook). On the pull down menu you'll see all the possible...

AT&T HTC One: 4.4 miscellaneous files question

I wouldn't trust that either. I am using about 10 gb for apps, music, photos etc. I have 12.45 free of the 32 gb free. And I also see that Miscellaneous listing with 9.71 gb and 9, 775 files. No idea how that figure is worked up, but I wouldn't delete it.

Waiting on AT&T for my update....Until NOW, Monday 2/24/14

Re: Waiting on AT&T for my update.... New message this evening at 11pm from AT&T when running software update. Instead of "you can check again in 24 hours", it tells you nothing is available now but your phone will auto check in the next 48 hours. Could mean something or they're just f___ing...

I bought an HTC One - What now?

You can determine which sources are available via Blinkfeed under the settings menu that will pop up when you swipe down to refresh that feed. You can customize which apps will always be available at the bottom of the screen. You can decide which of the many apps you want to use for SMS...

Mysterious application appeared on my HTC One

I think it's part of the Car application. Didn't know about it either until I put mine into a car cradle with the usb plugged in for power and in a Landscape orientation. Then the HTC Car application comes on.. which also is not in the application list but is found in app manager. Speak is...

Got new apps after 4.3 upgrade!!!???

The Wi-Fi app just seems to be a faster way to get to the Internet sharing/Hot Spot abilities of the HTC One. It used to be buried in the Wireless and Networks settings, now it's faster to access if you use it often and want to leave the app on one of your home screens.
