I'm not an expert on it, but KNOX is an extra secure mode of running apps, and I believe it uses encryption and also blocks the apps inside KNOX from touching anything else on your phone. Best bet is to look it up though if you want facts :)

Yes. I have had that problem. Usually goes away after a couple of minutes. Hopefully that gets fixed though!

I get the SD card notification after a reboot, but it lets me dismiss it and it does not return until the next reboot. Is that the same behavior you're seeing? As long as I can dismiss it, it doesnt bother me.

Good to know, thank you. I waited almost an hour, and fully towel dried the phone, and the charger was acting crazy for a while. Not an ongoing problem though, it did resolve itself.

Have not seen any problems with sync in any app. Data connection has been rock solid.

I worded that poorly. I should have said that AFTER I turned ultra power saver off, it had trashed the google now launcher settings. So it may be a known issue, but it persists after resuming normal power mode.

Thank you, I did try a reboot. The device is very hot and still lagging, and as far as I can tell there's nothing going on. No downloads or any app installs etc. My Nexus 5, Nexus 6P, iPhone 6, and iPad, never had this problem. Even in the same day 1 setup scenario. Really not worried yet...
