Basically batteries these days don't suffer from Memory effect. This means you can charge them at any time without affecting the battery, if you charge the phone when its at 50% you are not using up a full recharge and therefore you can recharge the battery many more times before it dies.

Im just very very careful with my gadgets. I also have insurance so if the worst does happen im covered.

I don't use cases on any of my phones. I have never cracked a screen. My Note 4 is too nice to hide in a case anyway.

Re: Serious battery consumption issues. Its a wakelock issue, nothing to do with the signal strength, i have the same poor signal at my house and i lose only 3% battery overnight.

Loving it after using Nexus devices for the past 4 years.

People that are using Nova Prime but still want to use the My Places features (other then the widget itself) you can, its in the location settings at the bottom!!!!

Nova Prime all the way!! The scrollable dock, smaller icons and adjustable grid are to good to give up.

Re: Battery life on Note 4 Im from Australia, my Note 4 could view 1440p videos in u-tube from the day i purchased it. When you set your brightness to auto you can adjust the base setting to your liking.

I consistently get 5-6 hours onscreen time with Rasbeanjelly rom and trinity kernel. With the stock rom and kernel the most i ever got was 3.5 hours onscreen time.

Yeah i like how rasbean does not overwhelm you with to many customization options, it just has the bare essentials to make the phone great to use. I love the blue theme aswell.

The main reason i think it is worth rooting is for the battery saving mods you can do once rooted. My stock N4 ws lucky to get 3 hours on screen time, with the Rasbeanjelly Rom and Trinity kernel im getting over 6 hours! There are also many apps that require root access that you are missing out...
