hey everyone i was wondering if anyone else was having an issue installing swype on their Devil Toast rom. I can download the apk to my phone and then when i enter my email and password it says something along the lines of "bad data connection" or something like that. I have wifi and internet...

are you 100 percent sure you are s-off? cause that should fix the problem, i havent had any issues since i went off with it

from my understanding as long as you can get into bootloader and recovery then you should be all set, youll have to relock the phone and then run the RUU program and it will revert it back to stock no problem, and then you just do the whole unlocking, and root process. I would do the s-off...

I strongly suggest getting s-off. very easy process, and well worth it. i havent had any issues since i did it :D

no i def had a lot of problems while i was s-on as well, from what i understand its a hit or miss kind of thing...some people it works for and some it doesnt. so that sucks for us. but again its wicked easy to do. I did not use to wire trick, so im not really sure about that, im sure it works...

thanks for all the input, but its just not working, i have tried everything i could think of and what was suggested. i have s-on would that make a difference? cause thats the only thing i can think of....

yea iv had pretty good luck with it as well....but this whole ICS thing has really thrown me for a "boot loop" ha. so im not really sure what the hell is going on.
