    Occasional Battery Drain

I'm experiencing the same thing ....... and what I've noticed. My battery usage is much higher than expected on Wifi than when using 3G but I have to manually shut down the Wifi radio otherwise both are drawing power. When I select Wifi, the mobile (3G) never powers down virtually doubling the...

    Broken Xoom, terrible moto support

Yeah sure: PC Express Xoom factory refurb w/ free shipping $399 or Brand new $450 - but yeah for the disposable generation $400 is reasonable for something that ISN'T REALLY broken in the first place :D! Refurbished Motorola Xoom 32GB WiFi Android Tablet for $399 + free shipping

    Broken Xoom, terrible moto support

Is this the Apple forum????? Pass the Kool-Aid  ......... Honestly you are correct they gave NO support which begs the question: Why do they have a consumer support department at all?

    Broken Xoom, terrible moto support

Spoken like a true card carrying member of the disposable generation. First and most important rule: Blame the customer then sell them a new one! There's a whole lot of REASONABLE distance between free and replacement cost. This wasn't close to reasonable.

Rant: Absolutely unacceptable that the 3.1 update doesn't fix lag

Personally I see browser updating without waiting for a complete system update one of the major advantages of using another browser like Dolphin / Opera. Google needs to treat the Android Browser as a separate app and update it regularly like they do Chrome.

    Amazing Battery Life

When you travel by motorcycle, camp, and trade the stockmarket to pay for it all, extra time on the battery is as necessary as cold beer (and Wifi at McD's) :D.

    Thumb Keyboard Beta w/multi-touch

So does Thumb but in all honesty it takes 2 clicks - click the little keyboard next to the time on the right then click english keyboard, same to go back to thumb. :)

Transformer also has a proprietary charger!! :(

They are a necessary evil, USB ports just don't put out the power. I'm happy with a relatively quick charge. :)

    Tethering Options

If you are paired , under the name of your phone it should say either "Paired but not connected" or "Connected" - if not I'd run Pdanet on the phone with bluetooth on and the pairing sequence again ..... Otherwise I'm out of ideas :(

    Tethering Options

I think it only needs to be installed and run on the EVO and simply Bluetooth paired to the Xoom ........ understand my Xoom is 3G and my phone a Droid2, but that shouldn't make a difference since Wifi and Mobile Networks are turned off ......

    Tethering Options

On the Xoom - did you turn wifi (and Mobile Networks if 3g) off??? Then on the Xoom after bluetooth paired go to Wireless Networks, Bluetooth settings, and click on Paired devices and if it says paired but not connected just click on the little bluetooth symbol next to the wrench to connect.
