Thx for the info, I will have to play with that. Is it safe to assume the 3rd party equalizer accessible in Google music would override the OP audio tuner? Chances are I'd want specific settings for music than for phone calls, podcasts etc.

Thanks. The equalizer setting was missing completely. I installed an app called equalizer fx and the equalizer setting returned. There must be a tie in to the music app for 3rd parties. Does anyone know if there's a "stock" equalizer from either Google or OP I may have been missing?

I just tried the messages app. It looks nice with the dark theme but it seems quite buggy. I've sent messages that don't appear in the conversation pane, until I close the app and go back in, and I've been unable to initiate SMS conversations with certain contacts deemed invalid by the app...

Understood, cheers. But the data in the settings had been erased. I happened to not be far from a carrier store and they manually re-entered the access points etc to restore the data connection.

Installed the OTA update and it blew away the carrier APN settings so I was without data for a while. Apart from that no issues this far. Love how I can fit more on the screen now....

I haven't found the op3 to be buggy. Works as advertised with a clean skin and a few useful customisation options. To put it in context I've most recently come from an iPhone 5s and a 1st Gen Moto X and the OP3 has been as trouble free as either of those.
