If you hand them the box and they scan it and give you a receipt they do no weight the package at time of drop off. And dealing with Samsung for years using Fedex or UPS; never had a problem! And with other companies, UPS has been the one to get a package lost. And then UPS paid for it....

In all my years of purchasing new phones and earbuds from Samsung's website, I have never had a problem with a trade in, or phone return. I dropped mine off at the UPS store in Prescott Valley and this is the tracking info at this time.... Dropped off at The UPS Store by Customer...

I remember reading the same about the S26U...and we know how those rumors went. Time till tell, they dump the S-pen, I dump Samsung and return to Pixel. Not a big deal either way.

Thinking back, when I had a paper sim I did it first. But I will say, it was a faster this year. Still a few things had to be set up manually, live voicemail, etc.

I did not have the esim transferred until all was transferred to the new phone. When I did the S24u to the S25U last year, I started the esim process switch when it asked for the switch on the sim card, and that was a mistake. So this year, I just waited and all was well. Again, esim, not paper sim.

Using the S26U for two days now,, in dim to bright sunshine, I have found the screen to be a bit better in bright sunshine than my previous S25U and that is with all the same settings. So far, it's a keeper. I'll send the S25U back on Monday.

Might not be a discussion since not all have had your problem. I just dumped all photos, documents, music etc., from a S25U to a windows file with no problems and no hesitation. In a week, I'll be reversing the dump from the PC to a S6U; most likely via a USB-C to USB-C cable.
