Galaxy S5 Prime could be launched in June

It's more than likely just a rumor they started to keep people from potentially buying the S5 Pro. Has any device ever been officially named "Prime"? Not sure why that always seems to be the moniker of every super release. Posted via Android Central App

There's not a bunch of lag on the S5. It's just not as smooth as Sense/Stock. Battery life, on the other hand, is spectacular. They typically don't disappoint in that regard. That said, I don't know how I feel about 1440p. Posted via Android Central App

Re: HTC One m8 prime? I'd have to imagine that LG and Samsung have addressed that in some way. I doubt they'd release 2 devices that can't at least match their previous works in battery life. Posted via Android Central App

Re: HTC One m8 prime? Exactly. The S5 Pro (not sure where everyone gets Prime from) is supposedly an answer to design critics and the 3GB of RAM may cure the "lag" issue that sees it trail Sense 6 and stock Android. If I was Samsung, I'd release it with stock Android. Can't see a lot of...

Don't need 3GB of RAM or 1440p. Give me an 8 MP UltraPixel with OIS. That'd make the device bigger, though. Just can't win. Posted via Android Central App

Re: HTC One m8 prime? Not producing a spec bump just because Samsung is doesn't mean they're giving up. They're just being realistic about where they are now in relation to being able to compete with Samsung. Their energy would be better spent learning how to market their product to the...

Re: HTC One m8 prime? Simply put? They can't. I'm hoping this new Silver line starts putting companies like HTC in a position to compete with Samsung. It won't be easy, though. They know exactly how to position their products and even though Touchwiz isn't quite on the level of Sense 6, it's...

Re: HTC One m8 prime? The S5 "Prime" looks to be happening. This is just HTC throwing a rumor out there to possibly deter folks from buying whatever Samsung comes up with. HTC doesn't need another M8----this one is just fine. Posted via Android Central App

Things you love about the new HTC One (M8)

Agreed. As long as HTC does well enough to maintain itself, I'm fine with it. It's unfortunate how this device is overlooked. Posted via Android Central App

Is there any lag on the HTC One (M8)?

Re: Is there any lag on the M8? That's a tough one. I'd still say the Nexus 5, but the difference between the two is negligible. Love both of them and have my Nexus 5 for when the next Android version comes this year. Posted via Android Central App

How on earth can you go to another phone after the HTC One (M8)?

Re: how on earth can you go to another phone after the M8? Understandable. The size is a compromise for me, but it's one I'm willing to make for the other things it does well. Staying with the Nexus 5? Posted via Android Central App

How on earth can you go to another phone after the HTC One (M8)?

Re: how on earth can you go to another phone after the M8? They're both excellent phones. Nothing wrong with believing one is better than the other, especially if it suits you better. The only thing I'll say is that if one is better than the other, it isn't by much. Posted via Android Central App

Is there any lag on the HTC One (M8)?

Re: Is there any lag on the M8? Outside of the Nexus 5, this is the smoothest phone on the market. Sense 6 is the culmination of a lot of hard work and it's fast, fluid, functional, and gorgeous. Posted via Android Central App

Things you love about the new HTC One (M8)

Why do people react so harshly to this? I have an M8. I love it. I had the S5 and loved it, too, but HTC suited my needs better this go round. I'm typing this on my M8 right now knowing full well how badly Samsung with the S5 will outsell the M8. Does that decrease the worth of my device? No...
