I love this phone for the most part but I barely used it today and my battery drained so quickly it's kind of hard to believe. I can still return the phone but would hate to do that if there is a solution to the battery issue. Is it because of the Oreo update?

I understand. I'm trying to decide if the $300 off discount makes it worthwhile to switch to Verizon. That's a hefty discount, phones are so overpriced nowadays. Also, if I understand correctly the camera doesn't have manual settings (ISO, fstop, etc.)

Why did you buy the Verizon/BB version rather than the "direct from Google" version if you're on AT&T? Doesn't the $300 Verizon discount promo require you to be on their service with the discount applied to your monthly Verizon bill?

Do you miss not being able to use manual mode for the camera? That's the one thing keeping me from going w/the Pixel 2. I understand it takes great photos but I rarely use auto mode when taking pics.
