The charger seemed to be connecting okay. Where do I find the VoLTE setting? I did change from Global to LTE/CDMA if that makes a difference.

Lower left corner of the screen, shows all recent apps, and gives you a "Close All" option. It took a while for me to discover this yesterday too. (This pertains to a Note 5) Otherwise, maybe hold down home key for maybe 5 secs and see if that pops up all tabs.
