I haven't timed it, but mine takes quite some time. It usually takes at least five or six hours to charge completely.

This happened to me as well and it was due to a defective SD card. I now have everything set to back up to OneDrive, Flickr and Google Plus. I know it's paranoid, but...

I use the stock screen because I use the finger scanner to unlock and I don't think other lockscreens can use it. I use NiLS for lockscreen notifications. It works perfectly for me.

I had this happen with a Lexar card. A few photos got grey boxes over them and then some completely disappeared. I returned the card and got a SanDisk one, so hopefully it's better.

It works for any app that shows notifications. I haven't been able to find one that lists all of your events for the day on the lock screen, unfortunately.

I use it, one handed, all the time. I have my right thumb in two of the spots and my left in the third along with a swipe of each index finger just in case. Obviously, with this set-up, it works better with my right thumb, but I use it every day with few issues.

I don't like cases, but I've dropped my phone a couple of times and got a few scratches on the faux "metal" part around the phone, so I think I'll need to get one now.
