Thanks for the reply. I tried and failed at the "tap the corners" suggestion, but was able to get the old phone working by temporarily installing the current working SIM.

I have used the BestBuy method in the past to upgrade to a Samsung S5. That leaves me with an old LG Lucid2 laying around. I did a factory reset to the Lucid2. Will temporarily putting my S5 SIM into the Lucid, to activate the Lucid, cause me a problem with Vzw? I just want to use the old Lucid...
