It can be a bunch of different apps. If you use Facebook messenger chat bubbles it can be those. You don't need to turn of the chat bubbles though, just temporarily remove them from your screen when you're prompted for a permission, and it will work. But this really is a extremely confusing...

I don't think this is the same as Doze.. If you don't open certain apps for 3 days it "disables" the app entirely and you won't even get notifications until you open the app again.. It's a good feature for some apps, but for apps like Viber it can be a mess.. Posted via the Android Central App
