Ok so apparently it's the phone because after doing a reset it shuts off even more now. So I guess I will have to exchange it for another one. I really like this phone and I think it takes real nice pics. Hopefully the next one won't have this problem. Thanks for your help. Greatly...

My G4 is getting very hot too, even when it's not in use. I am having a big problem with it shutting down ALLOT also. And on here trying to figure out if there is a solution to this problem before I trade it in for another G4. I really like the phone

The pictures I have taken on my G4 are some of the best pictures I've ever taken on any phone. I took pics of some crystals I have and all I can say is wow.
