I tried Google Messages and the RCS worked fine but I couldn't get any text alerts on my Samsung Fit 2 watch. A deal breaker unfortunately.

T-Mobile is definitely a leader in getting out in front with RCS. I'm with Verizon and they claim it only works for the S9 & 9+.

Locked to Verizon. They claim RCS only works (for Verizon) on the S9 & 9+. It also says as much in their website. That's for Samsung Messages not Google Messages which now works on any platform.

I used to use Do Not Disturb all the time on my phone (get my notifications from my watch) and never could get rid of the constant notification showing. Even the SystemUI Tuner app couldn't defeat it.

After much playing around with it, it appears the Do Not Disturb on my phone was causing the issue. Not sure why it just starting happening as I've always had DND on the phone. I would just use my watch for notifications, etc. Strange...

Send as though after an update yesterday I now no longer get vibrations for new notifications. I tried _everything_ multiple times but to no avail. Anyone have an idea of how to get this working again?

You can disable the high volume warning with the Samsung System UI Tuner app available in the play store. There's a bunch of other things you can do with it as well. I also use it to hide the battery and alarm icons.

I second this recommendation. A breeze to install and works perfectly around the edges. I even had one on an S9 I returned and reused it on another S9 with no issues. Highly recommended!

That's strange. I don't use the stock launcher but double check in your settings to make sure Facebook is enabled for the notifications. There may not be such a setting, idk. Which launcher are you using on your S9? I get notifications on my Facebook icon using Nova. I don't use it but would imagine using the Samsung Experience launcher would also do it.

I'm seriously considering moving from my S7 (regular not the edge) to the S9. Is this upgrade worth it? I really like my S7 but I like some of the new features on the S9. Also, has anyone done this as I be would be interested to hear what your experience has been. Thanks!
