    What percentage?

Letting it go to 20 isn't so great either. In terms of battery life longevity. I would stick with the 40-80 rule whenever possible. Regularly running your battery down to 20 and then charging it all the way back up to 100 will over time, may take a fair bit of time, impact your battery's...

    Anyone Switch to iPhone Max??

iOS is MUCH more efficient than Android - traditionally iPhones with smaller batteries provide more battery life than Samsung devices with bigger batteries. I don't see where that will be any different between the XS Max and Note 9. The results will tell. For the record I use a Product Red...

    Note 9 Light Leak!

And I would happily welcome that. Returned my Note 9 due to light leak, among a few other things but still have an 8 as a secondary phone and I often think about, when using it, that I'd prefer a flat screen. Same beautiful screen to look at but flat versus curved.

    Note 9 Light Leak!

My response was in response to you saying it was not a defect when it clearly is a manufacturing defect and that all devices have it to different extents. I can attest to the fact that not all devices have this. I recently went to a Samsung and Best Buy Store. In total I looked at 5 devices. 3/5...

    Note 9 Light Leak!

It is a manufacturing defect. I have spoken to Samsung themselves twice on this and both times I was told, just like I've read online on a few occasions that it is due to inconsistent paint jobs in the factory. There is black paint and the reason why we see it sometimes and don't others or the...

    Bent S Pen...

A bent S-Pen when the S-Pen is not designed to be bent is a problem 🤣 Now choosing to ignore it or settle is to each their own, but regardless it is a manufacturing defect and problem.

Not again... Note 9 Fire Alleged in Lawsuit

Well of course that would be the response 🤣 More or less - We stand behind the quality of the millions us Galaxy devices in use and are taking this isolated incident seriously by thoroughly investigating it.

    Bent S Pen...

An opinion I will agree to disagree with. On both fronts.

    Bent S Pen...

The location of where these pens are bent is concerning. Over time with use and little forces building up, it could weaken and at some stage these bent pens could break off. I would not be happy, after paying so much money for a premium phone to open the box and see a bent pen. I wouldn’t be...

    Bent S Pen...

Yes, and monetary impacts when it comes to selling it down the road should you choose to do so. But first and foremost, it getting worse over time would definitely be a concern to me. My Note 8 pen is 100% straight.

    Bent S Pen...

Thanks. Was just curious. The fact you bought a replacement and it was bent too removes the theory of any heat issues. Hope you returned the one from BB and got another. I know they were not manufactured this way by design as I inquired at a Samsung Store and all the S-Pens I saw at the store...

    Bent S Pen...

Those with bent or warped S-Pens - do you notice the back of your phones getting quite hot? Just wondering if it’s a heat related issue that is causing a small portion of them to lose shape?

Samsung: Galaxy Note 9 Pre-Order Thread

I'd be very interested in knowing what the early sales numbers look like. I own a Note 8 and Product Red 8 Plus - did purchase a Note 9 but ultimately returned it. While out shopping in Toronto I made it a point to inquire with the different carriers and retailers and I am not exaggerating when...
