Thanks for the input GSDer, it registered the satellites, but when I had the device set to high accuracy, it still offset me to Leicester (325 km away)... Whilst thinking it was accurate to withing a couple meters haha. I'll leave the phone in device only mode so I can at least have the gps be...

I should add, I have gone into Google account and have no other devices pinging a location under the same account details.. and the same happens when the phone is in safe mode. I have been into Google technical support and they are perplexed too haha.

Hello I have the Nexus 6p and have been using it fine with no hassle, 7.1.2 version of android (non root). For some reason as of this morning my GPS has gone out of whack and puts me in two different locations Intermittently, but about 325km apart. I have never been to this other location...
