Got the same problem, and it remains unsolvable. Just to summarize the desperate number of things I did (and still failed） after many like 8 days of trying (and anguish of waiting for 24 hours for the stupid whatsapp hp verification code), before trying again, and getting stupid errors mentioned...

WAHHH THIS ACTUALLY WORK@_@ I use put to red for 10 seconds, feeling sceptical, then put to black, saw the faint purple line, but upon exit, the purple line is gone #WhatSoceryIsThis Shall wait and see when it will come back as you have mentioned.

Re: Video Stabilization On vs OffYes Yes, same realization! That's why I google and ended up here as well. Thought it may be a bug or something. Did my own "test", tapping on my hand, then I realised that there's more "shaking" registered with the video stabilization set to on. WEIRD!
