    Verizon Launch Delayed..(rumors)

I hope you didn't think I was knocking you on that! The RAZR is an amazing phone IMO, just not for me. I'm getting impatient too. My Droid has long since had its touchscreen failure, so I have no phone now. It makes the wait pretty bad; I even thought about jumping to the Rezound for a bit...

    Verizon Launch Delayed..(rumors)

If the RAZR had a removable battery, and gave me full freedom over the hardware to do whatever I please with it by design, I would get it. Seeing as it has/does neither, I'm still waiting for the Galaxy Nexus. I'm certainly not the average consumer and I don't claim to speak for anyone else's...

    Verizon Upgrade Survey

A bit off-topic, but on that note, I don't know why some of you (not aimed at anyone in this thread but in the broader forums, unless I missed someone) put so much faith in Verizon's in store reps. Obviously you weren't around for the Nexus S launch. :p Though at least there was a release date...

    Face Unlock: 0. Picture: 1.

I'm suprised people care enough to decry it as a security detriment. Wasn't that obvious? This isn't a retina or fingerprint scanner. It's facial unlock. It's been around on computers forever, with the same issues. It's a novelty item, Google put it in to add a little extra wow factor to...

    Will the Nexus ditch rfs?

Yep. Pretty much all modern (GNU/)Linux operating systems use ext4 by default currently. At least until btrfs goes stable! :D

    2100mah battery

He means, where did you get the 1850maH number. I personally trust that you're correct Adrynalyne, seeing as you know your stuff, though your reasoning for saying this isn't clear.

    Will the Nexus ditch rfs?

I don't think Samsung has used rfs on any of its newer devices. I know the GT10.1 doesn't, and I'd be surprised if the S2 series did. Regardless, the GNex will use ext4 for a few reasons: one, it's Google's default Android filesystem (yes, the Nexus S had ext4 too), and I'm pretty sure that...

Rant: Thanks for Ignoring us Google

I've felt the exact same way towards T-Mobile since the Nexus One. I didn't post childish rants about how T-Mobile didn't deserve it because they don't have service everywhere, though. At least you can still get the Nexus on your network. If Verizon hadn't specifically carried the Nexus, all of...

A Review of the Galaxy Nexus and a Comparison to the GSII

Ouch. Pretty harsh for just disagreeing with you. 'Specially since you haven't posted any links to back up your claim.

    P3droid got 2

Re: Thank you! Obvious P3Droid is obvious. :D Jerry seems to want to wait for this thread to burn with the expected flames before he closes, and tbh I can't blame him. It's like "A CHALLENGER APPEARS! WHAT WILL HAPPEN NOW?"

    P3droid got 2

P3Droid just likes to get people worked up. I don't consider him in the same respect as Panda or others, simply because he always manages to pull some jerkery to counterbalance his contributions, everytime. It's a wonder, after some of the things he's said, that the community hasn't tried to...

    Keeping Unlimited Data

Hey y'all. I've got unlimited data on Verizon from my OG Droid; to keep it, would I have to buy the Galaxy Nexus off-contract or can I still be grandfathered in while only paying the upgrade price?
