I had same issue but when reboot this problem went away!!

CM7 - Known issues with graphic acceleration. I was on CM7 but watching videos a lot on NC so I went back to stock + rooted + OC. :)

Try to use Vital Player. I had some issues with Rock Player so tried Vital Player and it seems working properly. :)

You will need to copy apk to system\app. You will have to use Root Explorer to copy and change the permission. Once you copy go back to Nook Color Tool to select the keyboard you just copied. If you don't see it just reboot then it will show up. :)
