Yeahh i was trying them. After many attempts i did manage to reinstall the firmware, and do a factory reset. The phone then worked fine for a couple of hours before playing up again XD. Im beginning to think it may be a problem with the battery. I am thinking this as currently my phone is dead...

I am having the same issue also. I have downloaded Kies, but now whenever i attempt to access the download menu, the green man flashes for a split second and then goes back to the samsung logo :\. Any ideas?
