After almost a week with the Samsung Galaxy S5, and the non-synching Kies 3, I finally found something that works. MyPhoneExplorer. Setup was not too bad, and works just fine over USB (I haven't tried BT or WiFi). GREAT SOLUTION for corporate-enabled phones that need business contacts. :)...
