I managed to restore the stock ROm following your procedure in a Window Machine. I then flashed the custom ROM with ODIN and got the following output:

<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Binary Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> Checking MD5 finished...
