    Thunderbolt Battery Complaints + Tips/Tricks

Long press on it until the phone vibrates and you see a trash can at the bottom of the screen, then drag it to the trash. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk

    HTC Thunderbolt Review from Engadget

Yeah, that kinda annoyed me too. They don't seem to have any beef with paying full price for a last-gen device when the iPhone 4 comes out on Verizon, but the Bolt comes out and all of the sudden, it's a "dual-core age", even though only one dual-core phone on one carrier has been released on...

    Thunderbolt Battery Complaints + Tips/Tricks

Wouldn't be surprised if that's the problem with a lot of these guys. If your battery is dropping 20% an hour when you aren't even touching the phone, then there's probably some widget pulling down too much data. My advice, if you think the battery life is bad, delete ALL of your widgets and...

    Thunderbolt Battery Complaints + Tips/Tricks

Battery life seemed pretty awful for me yesterday, even when I wasn't playing with it constantly. Today, it's been doing pretty well. I have the settings pretty much how I like them and I haven't messed with the phone much - a minute or two on the phone, I think a couple of texts, took a pic and...

    Swype and the thunderbolt

Having the same problem, though my Swype works fine everywhere but in the Messaging app. If it isn't working at all for you, have you been using the Swype beta on another device before? If so, you have to reset the device setting for your account at the Swype website for it to work. Didn't...

    Thunderbolt Issues/Solutions

Yeah, I'm getting that too. Swype works fine everywhere except the Sense messaging app. There, there's no auto-spacing and no auto-caps. Haven't figured out any solution to that yet, except to type texts in another app - I use SMS popup, and typing texts in it's quick reply box works fine.

    Thunderbolt Review (Coming Soon)

I have a feeling that battery drain may be related to total data downloaded as much as time being used, so heavy network usage might drain it faster than any other phone, but it will hopefully last a normal amount of time with normal usage. At least that's what I'm hoping, because I want this...

Who's currently rocking the oldest phone?

Wow, and I felt bad about my Eris now running Gingerbread. You guys win this one!

I'm playing with a thunderbolt as we speak!

Sounds plausible... The 28th doesn't look that likely now, since I'd think we ought to be seeing more hints of this phone if it's really coming out in 4 days. Now we can hope to see more inventory system pictures, snaps of stacks of phones in shipping cases, and reports of training classes early...

Thunderbolt Pre Announcement Waiting Room & Availability Thread.

Well, it's better than a thread for every time someone chats with a Verizon/BestBuy salesman with the latest rumor; at least these updates are connected to people who actually know what's going on. (Not to disparage them, but it's pretty clear that the only way they know anything more than we...

TB DELAYS and (RUMORED) TECH ISSUES MIGHT DRIVE ME to iPHONE

I'm using droid and Ubuntu. What do you want to sync? My phone currently sync with Google, Facebook, and Exchange for work. I can see everything on the computer by going to the appropriate websites. I haven't used it personally, but I hear Dropbox works fine for syncing files OTA. I haven't had...

TB DELAYS and (RUMORED) TECH ISSUES MIGHT DRIVE ME to iPHONE

I understand the argument that there's always something newer around the corner, but I don't think it really applies here. The TBolt is the best of what's available right now (okay, in the next week or two, probably). The only big feature on the horizon that it doesn't have is dual-core. The...

So alot of people do go without a case?

Never used a case with any of my phones before, and I doubt I'll start now. Especially since the Bolt is so damn big that I'll probably be struggling to fit it into my pocket even without a case adding bulk to it. I don't see the need much either, because I very rarely drop my phones and I don't...

Is Thunderbolt going to Run 3G till Summer

Not buying it.. Since store reps usually don't know that much and it's damn hard to believe they're going to hype the crap out of the release of the first LTE phone and then not activate it for months. What is believable is that your city might not have LTE service active now and it might take...

    Thunderbolt battery life

I don't think you need to worry that much - my battery will easily make it a full day if I keep the usage light. It is possible to kill the battery in 4-5 hours, but this usually involves being in a low/no signal area, running poorly-written widgets that update too often, or playing high-end...
