Galaxy S4: Major problem - SIM card not detected

I've had the same problem as well, tried a piece of tape over the ribbon connector to no avail. The only thing that worked for me was taking out the back cover and putting a piece of paper to hold the sim tray down into the mainboard.

    EXTREME battery problems

I don't think lithium ion batteries suffer too much from battery calibration; But try fully draining the battery and then charging back to 100%, it may not work, but it's worth a shot.

    Post your PC specs!

The cpu is built like a tank! Purchased it back in 2007, and it's outlasted my other components. Had to replace my mobo and PSU back in 2013. Still using the same stock Intel fan too ^_^

Becoming tired of big Android phones

That's why I'm still rocking the Galaxy s4. Perfect size for me and one handed operation. The 5.2 screen on the s5 and later is slightly too large for me to use. I just hope my phone can last another year or two!!

    iPhone 6S vs. Nexus 5X

I find that iPhones have much better reliability than Android phones. I've owned a Nexus 5, Galaxy s4, and Xperia Z; but my original iPhone 4s has outlasted all my phones. The nexus and s4 I've had to get it repaired once. My friends have had similar reliability track records (ie: some of them...

You can move some apps to the SD card via application manager. Not all apps are allowed to move, however.
