It's actually a black square with a white peel off paper protector.

Ive bought an s6 edge charging port off ebay after mine broke, the first one had a piece loose, so I told the seller and they sent me a new one. However this one is exactly the same! I want to know if this is an important component or just a sticky pad. I hope I can post a picture but if not...
