Has anybody seen the standard email icon not show the first email arrival. When I get a new email notification the the notification bar shows it but the icon doesn't register a "1". When I get the second email it now registers 1 not 2 and on it goes registers "n" when I really have "n+1"

No I didn't read the instructions, but obviously I should have as you were absolutely correct - there they are. Thank you very much. Why do I need a manual when I have you? :)
