I used to use the pattern lock, but I found out with my ex's phone that I could get into her phone whenever I wanted, since you can actually SEE the pattern on the glass. I always use a pass code or pin. I think the fingerprint is great to use, and I think it's worth the slight inconvenience...

Hi, I am actually trying to find the article again but I am sure I read somewhere that the Galaxy Update does NOT include all of the security updates for april, but some of the most critical. It was one of the sites that was talking about each issue fixed in the April update.
