    I found the fix Sunday from another web forum: change incoming to incoming.verizon.net from pop.verizon.net. So far it has worked. Thanks for your reply.

    I havent because internet searches I have done about this problem seems to indicate that others have tried that without any success. Since I can send emails but not receive I don't want to risk making it worse unless I absolutely have to. Its kind of a last resort right now.

    Correct. Happens to both mobile and wi-fi as well
