That's unfortunate. I thought that there was a way it could be set as internal but it involved rooting the device. I guess I'm going tablet shopping then.

The app I use to take notes is the Samsung notes app that came with the tablet. I have the notes backed up to the cloud but I have no idea how to look at anything in Samsung's cloud so I can't store them there instead of on the tablet. Most of the other space on the tablet is used by textbooks...

If I can't move the notes to the SD card or use it as internal storage then I will probably run out of storage before the semester is over since I have about 1 gig remaining and I create about 1.5 gigs of notes each semester. I don't really have any other options.

I have a galaxy tab A 10.1 2016 (the model with the s pen) running android 8 that I use for note taking and watching videos. None of the sources for importing notes have anything in them (tablet, Samsung account, google drive). Does this mean the notes didn't back up properly?

I was working on a homework assignment in samsung notes and closed a note as I was saving it, which corrupted the file. I backed up the note to samsung cloud before this but I don't know how to download the note file. Could someone walk me through downloading the note file off samsung cloud? Thanks.

I didn't replace the motherboard, but prior to the phone failing I replaced the charging board because my brother broke the charging port.

I'm not sure. When I try and turn it on, the amount of current drawn spikes up to 200 or 250 ma, but then falls back down to 20 ma. Should I try re installing the old charger board to see if it works with that?

Yup. 3.6 volts (lithium ion and polymer batteries like to be between 3.2 and 4.2 volts) and I recently replaced the charger board due to the charger port being damaged.

My brother's Moto E4 is not charging or turning on. He said that the screen went black while he was using it and didn't turn on again. I have replaced the battery, tested the new battery with my multimeter to make sure it's not dead, used many different cords and adapters, and taken the phone...

The replacement has image retention too. Was this an issue when the V20 launched or is it just refurbished ones? Even if I can't get one without the image retention I won't get a different phone model. I despise glass sandwiches since they are so much tougher to repair.

Got a replacement coming in the mail. I will post when it arrives.

The burn in seems to be coming back. I'm going to see if I can return it for a different one.
