So this problem is just ridiculous. Can anyone out there post success stories they've had, as I'm at my wits end here. Just about ready to go ahead and replace the USB port and pray that's the problem. Completely absurd that so many people should be having this problem on a "flagship" phone.

OP please post any success you may have had, I am in the exact same situation (just intermittent vibrating). Thinking I'll have to change the USB port, what a pain. Hope that works...
