    I am trying to make a listview in android , in android studio it did not showed any red line (error) after i have written the code, but on clicking run the app on my device showed blank screen i.e. no listview was generated , can you help me how to solve it ?

    thanks , but i haven't connected any device . Can it run without connecting the device on emulator only i am naive so please it may sound stupid, any help is appreciable
