I'd seen that, but I thought that because of the 7's larger size, it might not be ideal. (Example: The 4's charging orb is angled, and the increased weight of the 7 might drag it down off the orb)

Why would you want cm9? Cm10.1 is fully functional. You can grab the latest 10.1 by going to freenode Web IRC (qwebirc), and entering whatever you want for nickname and #htc-evo-4g-lte as the channel.
