So about a week ago I finally received a notification telling me I could update to JellyBean, everything was fine until this past weekend. Since then the phone's battery life is reduced to nothing in 4 hours or so with data on, Google Now is not working properly as it doesn't recognize voice...

Yup, what you are configuring is the time the app pulls new tweets to your timeline but not notifications. As far as I know only third party Twitter apps do what you want to do. Enviado desde mi GT-B5510L usando Tapatalk 2
