Anybody experienced any hiccups with Oreo? I find my Bluetooth does not automatically sync with my car FM transmitter unlike the previous update. I have to unpair and connect to the device again. I also cannot change the notification sound for Viber app at it takes me to the new app notification...

My Mate is US version and update is finally available OTA. I'm finally satisfied with this phone. Did anyone encounter anything negative on their phone after the update? I am not sure If I should go ahead with it.

US handsets are at the end of the line. Mine is still at April :-( Love this phone but the lack of updates is disappointing.

I am keeping the pre installed screen cover that came with my Mate. I ordered a tempered glass with one broken on arrival and another one 1 to 2 mm short on one side. I find that the fingerprints don't bother me compared to the raised and uneven edges of the tempered glass that is distracting...

Honor 8 is definitely faster. I tried them side by side and Honor 8 wins all the time. Maybe it's my Mate 9 but 3 times out of 5 it annoys me by vibrating like my finger didn't register and opening a second that feels like an eternity later. I never had to erase my print and re-register again...

I am disappointed with the lack security updates but other than that, I love the screen size and display quality; the battery life I got 8.5 hours of SOT the other day. The pictures that come out of the camera are great especially the monochrome shots, but Honor is so close in terms of image...

100 clams? I'm not Santa :-) I figure with a holster, 2 cases, a screen protector (all used) I can get at least 200 to 250 for a fair price. I might throw in the Huawei fitness band if I don't fancy it when it arrives.

Now if anybody here trustworthy wants a second Honor 8 let me know ;-) I have to give mine a second home.
