ok tried with another excel file, and works..so maybe the original file i was trying was too complicated or something..it was a spreadsheet from work

I would thiink that Nexus 7 out of the box, should be able to read excel. iOS and WP8 do..

yeah found download folder, but when i click the excel file, again, "Document Viewer failed to open"

well, from the email, I can either "view" it or "save" it. If I view it. i get the message that "Document Viewer failed to open". If i clock on save, it says it saved, but no idea where the saved file is..

Hi guys, please forgive me, but I searched everywhere, and cannot find an answer. I picked up the new nexus 7, and I do like it a lot, however it is my 3rd mobile OS experience, after iOS and WP8. Those other 2 would be able to view Excel files from my email with no extra effort, just click...
