    I've tried it and I got the update and updates the phone also.. Try once again since even for me it worked the same but then just got update. Just remember to remove the sim from phone..

    Hey even I have been using htc droid dna in India so naturally global mode. But I was able to update it. Hope you are not rooted then just try this way.. 1. Remove the SIM card and put the phone to CDMA mode. 2. Reboot the phone and it'll show no network in CDMA mode. 3. Connect to a wifi nearby...
