First, try going into Samsung browser settings and remove permission there. Samsung helped you with the last update by insuring their app is default. If that doesn't work, try deleting Samsung browser cache, and data if possible, then the app itself. Reboot and try your alternate browser. Then...

Excellent guess but my options are: Delet, view contact details, Add/remove recipents, Album, Quick response, Create slideshow, schedule message (My favorite feature!), and block number. I guess I could delete the thread but it's everything for a year with my daughter. (insert sad face)

I had to do a factory reset of my phone and after it reloaded everything I find that one contact, my daughter, has a "no ringtone" symbol in the corner of her text messages (image attached). I went to her user and changed the ringtone. It works but I still have the symbol there. I cannot...

Tasker can do anything. There are a bunch of ready made programs ready including what you want. If that's truly all you want I'll be there's an app for that

Can't say as it's possible. You can back up your notes to Evernote so you don't loose them but they import as jpeg files. Samsung is very helpful with moving data. Call them and see. BTW the Samsung search function is a beast. In seconds it will search all tour notes, email, contacts, messages...

When I had trouble I called Google help and got excellent support

As a longtime Swype user I finally have swiftkey a serious try. Swiftkeys swipe is inferior and I'm so used to swiping that I didn't like going back to thumbing the keyboard. Swiftkey's word prediction is certainly superior.
