I have note 4.. in ur opinion what's best root option? I tried one that said it worked with note 4 but it did not... any suggestions?

mine does not have option to keep solo in memory and I am having terrible lag when hitting frome button or opening all apps... any suggestions where it could be it's not uner any settings I can find... help I love this launcher but it's so slow for some teadon. I have note 4

Unable to activate device administrator in settings for Android device manager. Will not select. The app locates my phone fine but when I go to set up lock and erase for some reason it does not allow me to activate as device administrator... I have a Verizon Galaxy Note 4. Stock.
